The SAKO Optilock Base Set is the factory-designed, precision-engineered foundation for mounting optics on many of the most popular modern Sako and Tikka centerfire rifles. This two-piece set is required to convert the rifle’s integral receiver dovetails (17mm width) into a mounting platform that accepts SAKO Optilock Rings (sold separately)

Finish: Classic Blued Finish (sometimes described as Matte Blued).
Design Advantage: Features a solid recoil pin that locks the base into a corresponding notch on the rifle’s receiver, preventing any forward/backward movement under recoil.

Crucial Note: These bases are only the foundation. They must be paired with the correct SAKO Optilock Rings (available in various heights and diameters: 1″, 30mm, 34mm, etc.) to complete the scope mounting system.
