The SAKO Optilock Extended Base Set in Stainless Steel is the factory-engineered foundation for mounting optics on Sako’s large-action centerfire rifles that require maximum flexibility for eye relief. These bases are essential for adapting the rifle’s integral, tapered receiver dovetails to accept the proprietary SAKO Optilock Rings (sold separately).

Sako 85: Fits M, L, and XL actions (Medium, Long, and Magnum)
Sako 75: Fits IV and V actions (Long and Magnum)
Classic Actions: Interchangeable with older long actions: L61R Finnbear, L691, M995/TRG-S
Mounting System: Converts the Sako tapered dovetail to accept SAKO Optilock Rings (Rings and inserts are required and sold separately).
Material: Precisely machined from Solid Stainless Steel for uncompromising durability and weather resistance.
Finish: Stainless Steel (SS) / Matte Silver finish, perfectly matching stainless rifle hardware.
BH Height (Build Height Unit):8.00 mm (Height from the receiver top to the Optilock ring mounting surface).
