Description

The Schmidt & Bender Zenith 3-12×50 LM FD7 is an adaptable, high-quality riflescope designed for hunters, sport shooters, and precision shooters alike. Manufactured in Germany with rugged construction and high light transmission (~90 %), it offers a versatile 3–12× variable magnification suited from close-to-mid-range to extended shots. The 50 mm objective enhances low-light performance and ensures bright, sharp images throughout the zoom range.

This model uses the FD7 FlashDot reticle, a widely appreciated illuminated design tailored for quick acquisition and precise aiming under varied light conditions. Because the reticle is located in the first focal plane, subtensions and ranging marks remain true at all magnification settings — critical for accurate holdovers.

The rugged turrets are configured with ASV / Posicon CT, featuring clockwise rotation and a 1 cm per 100 m click value (i.e., 0.1 mrad). Elevation provides a 32 cm per 100 m adjustment range with a large 145 cm internal travel, while windage offers ±65 cm per 100 m with a 130 cm internal range — suitable for dialing corrections on varied terrain and distances.
