The Full-Length Sizing Die features a decapping rod assembly with a “long-life” expander ball. This expander is highly polished to minimize friction during the upward stroke of the press, preventing case neck stretching and maintaining the concentricity essential for sub-MOA performance. The Seating Die is designed for easy adjustment and precise bullet alignment to the case neck. While it includes a crimp ring, most precision 6.5 Creedmoor shooters utilize the fine-thread adjustments to set seating depth exactly for their specific rifle’s “jump” to the rifling. All Redding dies are CNC-machined and checked against master gauges to ensure they meet or exceed SAAMI specifications.
