The Instant Indicator is a “must-have” for precision shooters who need to translate chamber measurements directly to their reloading dies. Its primary function is to provide a fast, repeatable method for measuring the distance from the case base to the shoulder (headspace). This information is essential for setting up a full-length sizing die to achieve the perfect amount of shoulder set-back (typically $0.002″ – 0.003″$), which extends brass life and improves accuracy.

Beyond headspace, the tool is incredibly versatile. By swapping internal components, you can check bullet seating depth uniformity relative to the ogive, sort bullets by length, and even check case trim length consistency. The included Range Adapter is a significant feature, as it allows the tool to be used as a standalone handheld unit at the range or on a workbench without needing to be mounted in a reloading press.
