When you fire a round, the brass expands to the exact dimensions of your chamber. This die allows you to keep that perfect fit. Because the die does not touch the shoulder or the body, the case remains centered in the bore for the next shot, which is a major factor in reducing group sizes.

For high-volume .223 shooters, this die is a cost-saver. Full-length sizing “works” the brass significantly, leading to thinning at the web and eventual failure. Neck sizing with the 81111 keeps the brass “relaxed,” allowing for significantly more reloads per case. The die comes equipped with a decapping rod and a hardened steel expander button.
