The Redding 82135 set is a favorite among long-range hunters and target shooters. When a .270 Winchester round is fired, the brass expands to fit the chamber perfectly. By using the Neck Sizing Die, you preserve this custom fit. This results in the cartridge being perfectly centered in the bore for the next shot, which typically leads to tighter groups.

Because the body of the brass is not being squeezed back to factory dimensions, the metal is “worked” significantly less, which helps prevent the common issue of case head separation and neck splitting. The dies are made from high-alloy steel, heat-treated for durability, and hand-polished for smooth operation.

Neck Sizing Die: This die resizes only the neck of the .270 Winchester case to the proper tension for holding a bullet. It does not touch the shoulder or the body, allowing the case to retain the exact dimensions of your rifle’s chamber.

Standard Bullet Seating Die: A precision seating die designed to seat bullets straight and consistent. It includes a built-in crimp ring, though crimping is rarely necessary for .270 Win bolt-action loads.
