The Redding 68111 set is engineered to solve the most common issues in .223 reloading. Because .223 brass is often reloaded many times, work-hardening and neck stretching are constant concerns. The Carbide Expander significantly reduces the stress on the brass during sizing.

For the AR-15 shooter, the Full-Length Die ensures 100% reliable cycling by resetting the case to factory dimensions. For the target shooter, the Neck Sizer and Micrometer Seating Die work together to minimize runout and perfect the bullet’s “jump” to the rifling. All dies are made from heat-treated alloy steel and hand-polished for a mirror finish.

Full-Length Sizing Die: Features a Carbide Expander Button. In the high-volume world of .223, the slick carbide button is a lifesaver—it glides through the case neck on the upstroke, preventing “neck pull” and eliminating the need for internal neck lubrication.

Neck Sizing Die: Sizes only the neck. This is the preferred method for bolt-action shooters (like those using a Ruger Precision or Tikka T3x) who want to preserve the fire-formed shape of the brass for maximum accuracy and extended case life.

Premium Seating Die: Includes a Micrometer Adjuster. This allows you to seat bullets with .001″ precision. Whether you are loading 55gr plinkers or 77gr TMKs, you can dial in the exact seating depth and return to it later using the recorded numerical setting.
