A precision-machined steel shell holder for the .30-06 Springfield, .308 Winchester, and .45 ACP cartridge families. Built with a universal snap-in design, it ensures perfect case alignment and a square base for consistent primer seating and resizing.

The Redding #2 shell holder is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances, featuring a standardized .125″ deck height. This precision is critical for ensuring that when your resizing die makes contact with the shell holder, the shoulder bump and headspace remain consistent across every round.

Unlike “economy” shell holders, Redding uses a high-grade alloy steel that is heat-treated to prevent the “claws” from spreading under the pressure of a stuck case. The exterior features a knurled surface for a non-slip grip when swapping calibers, and the internal dimensions are polished to ensure cases slide in and out smoothly without snagging. It is compatible with all Redding presses, as well as those from RCBS, Hornady, Lee, and Lyman.
