Description

A specialty steel shell holder designed for the .22 Hornet family and related small-rimmed cartridges. It features a tapered entry for easy case insertion and is compatible with all standard single-stage and turret reloading presses.

The Redding #14 shell holder is crafted for cartridges with a rim diameter of approximately .350″. Because the .22 Hornet case is relatively thin and fragile compared to larger magnum cases, Redding machines this holder to very close tolerances. This tight fit ensures the case does not tilt or “wobble” during resizing, which is a common cause of neck runout and crushed shoulders in small calibers.

The exterior features Redding’s signature knurling, providing a non-slip surface that makes it easy to install or remove from the press ram. It is universal in its mounting style, meaning it will snap into RCBS, Hornady, Lee, and Lyman presses just as easily as it does a Redding T-7 or Big Boss.
