The Raider 550 is engineered to be small enough to fit in a shirt pocket while providing the accuracy needed for ethical hunting. It uses a precision laser to measure distances to the nearest yard. The One-Touch Scan Mode is its most functional feature: by holding down the button, the device continuously updates the distance as you pan across the landscape or track an animal walking toward your position.

The optics are fully multi-coated to ensure a bright image even in low-light conditions typical of dawn or dusk hunting. Its housing is made of a lightweight, durable polymer that is weather-resistant. It runs on a single CR-2 lithium battery, which is common and easy to replace in the field.
