The .22-250 Remington is legendary for its speed and accuracy, but high-velocity cartridges are sensitive to even minor inconsistencies in bullet tension. This die provides a mechanical advantage by replacing the “one-size-fits-all” internal diameter of standard dies with a customizable system:

Bushing System: By using Type S Bushings, you can adjust neck tension in $0.001″$ increments. This allows you to account for variations in brass wall thickness between brands (e.g., Hornady vs. Lapua) and eliminates the need for an expander ball, which often pulls necks out of alignment.

Micrometer Adjustment: The graduated micrometer head allows you to dial in exactly how much of the neck you wish to size. Many precision shooters size only the top $2/3$ of the neck, leaving the bottom portion fire-formed to the chamber to act as a pilot for better alignment.

Sliding Alignment Sleeve: This die uses a spring-loaded internal sleeve that captures the case and centers it perfectly under the bushing before the sizing stroke. This prevents the “crooked necks” that cause bullet runout and open up groups at long range.
