The Competition Pro Series is the pinnacle of Redding’s engineering, intended for cartridges that require zero-tolerance consistency. This set is particularly favored by tactical shooters and long-range competitors using the .308 Winchester:

Full-Length Sizing Die: This die features a specialized internal profile and a polished expander ball to ensure the case is perfectly centered during the sizing stroke. It ensures 100% reliable chambering in both bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles (like the AR-10).

Competition Seating Die: The centerpiece of the set. It features a micrometer head graduated in $0.001″$ increments, allowing for incredibly precise bullet seating depth. It utilizes a sliding alignment sleeve that captures the case and the bullet before seating begins, ensuring the bullet is perfectly concentric to the case neck. Note: This die does not crimp.

Taper Crimp Die: Included to provide a separate, highly consistent crimp. By separating the seating and crimping steps, you eliminate the risk of buckling case necks or shaving bullet jackets, leading to much higher quality ammunition.
