The Full-Length Sizing Die features a decapping rod assembly with a “long-life” expander ball. This expander is highly polished to minimize friction inside the case neck, which prevents “neck pull” or stretching—a critical factor in maintaining the concentricity needed for accuracy. The Seating Die is designed for precise bullet alignment and includes a crimp ring. While many target shooters skip the crimp, it is a valuable feature for hunters using internal box magazines to ensure bullets don’t shift under recoil.
