Description

Part number 4066 is a 3mm steel ball used primarily as a detent bearing in various FX rifle models. In the Impact, Maverick, and Wildcat series, it is often found beneath the Power Adjuster knob or the side-lever linkage, where it works in conjunction with a small spring to “index” different positions.

Due to its size, it is a “high-loss” item during maintenance. Replacing a worn or lost 4066 ball restores the tactile feedback and security of the rifle’s adjustment dials. It is manufactured to strict tolerances to ensure it does not bind or cause premature wear on the aluminum components of the rifle’s block.
