The Ataman M2 Tactical Carbine Type 4 is part of the M2 series of PCP air rifles manufactured by Ataman. The rifle operates using a high‑pressure compressed air system filled up to 300 bar (4350 psi) and includes an internal regulator to provide stable velocity and consistent shot performance.

The rifle features a side‑lever cocking mechanism and a self‑indexing rotary magazine, allowing multi‑shot operation and quick follow‑up shots. Depending on caliber, the magazine typically holds 10 pellets in .22 caliber.
