The Bell & Carlson 2465 series stocks are designed as replacement stocks for Remington 700 BDL long-action rifles, particularly the lightweight Mountain Rifle / Titanium-style sporter models. These stocks are constructed using a proprietary composite blend of fiberglass, aramid fibers, and structural resins, resulting in a rigid yet lightweight structure suitable for hunting and field use.

A defining feature of the Medalist™ stock line is the precision CNC-machined aluminum bedding block embedded in the stock. This bedding block provides a solid metal-to-metal interface between the rifle action and the stock, minimizing movement and improving consistency without requiring additional gunsmith bedding work.

The Mountain “Ti” sporter design uses a slimmer fore-end and sporter barrel channel optimized for lightweight hunting rifles. The stock is typically configured with a free-floating barrel channel, helping maintain consistent accuracy by preventing barrel contact with the stock during firing.

The 2465-30 variant features a Tan base finish with Black Spiderweb texture, a durable textured coating designed to enhance grip and provide a distinctive tactical appearance. Bell & Carlson offers this finish across several stock models as one of its standard color options.
