Description
The Bell & Carlson 2467 series stocks are designed as precision replacement stocks for Remington 700 BDL short-action rifles, commonly chambered in cartridges such as .223 Remington, .243 Winchester, and .308 Winchester. These rifles belong to the widely used Remington Model 700 bolt-action platform, introduced in 1962 and still produced today.
The stock is constructed using Bell & Carlson’s hand-laid fiberglass composite system, combining fiberglass reinforcement with structural resins to create a durable and weather-resistant stock suitable for hunting and field use. A key feature of the Medalist™ series is the integral CNC-machined aluminum bedding block, which is molded directly into the stock. This bedding system creates a stable metal-to-metal interface between the rifle action and the stock, improving consistency and eliminating the need for additional bedding work.
The Mountain “Ti” sporter profile is designed for lightweight hunting rifles. It includes a slim fore-end and sporter-contour barrel channel, allowing the barrel to remain free-floating for improved accuracy. The design balances rigidity with reduced weight, making it well suited for rifles intended for long periods of carry in the field.
The 2467-30 variant features a Tan base color with a Black Spiderweb textured finish, a durable coating that improves grip and provides a distinctive appearance. This finish is part of Bell & Carlson’s standard color coding system used across multiple stock models.
