Description

The Ataman Moderator (ATAMANMOD) is an external sound‑suppression accessory designed for use with Ataman PCP airguns, including rifles from the M2/M2R series and pistols such as the AP16 when used with the appropriate adapter.

A moderator works by reducing the noise generated when compressed air exits the barrel, using internal chambers or baffles that slow and disperse the expanding air. This makes shooting quieter and more comfortable, especially during target practice or backyard shooting.

Many Ataman airguns already feature shrouded barrels or built‑in noise reduction systems, but the muzzle is often threaded so an additional external moderator can be installed for further sound reduction.
