Description

The Wheeler Engineering Gunsmithing Screwdriver Kit was designed to provide gunsmiths and firearm owners with a complete set of precision screwdrivers tailored specifically for firearm maintenance and repair. The kit includes a wide selection of bits engineered to match the exact screw dimensions used in modern and antique firearms, helping prevent damage such as stripped or burred screw slots.

The screwdriver bits are made from S2 tool steel and hardened to approximately 56–58 Rockwell C, providing durability and resistance to wear during repeated use. Engineers at Wheeler measured screws from over one hundred firearm models to design bit profiles that maximize surface contact and minimize screw damage.

The set contains 54 hollow-ground flat bits, along with Phillips, Allen, and Torx bits, making it suitable for tasks such as installing scopes, adjusting firearm components, and general gunsmithing work. Two ergonomic handles are included: a standard-size handle for general work and a smaller handle for precision tasks in confined areas.
