The BKL-558 is the ideal solution for shooters looking to mount modern Picatinny or Weaver-style optics—such as red dots or tactical scopes—onto traditional rimfire or airgun dovetail rails. What sets this model apart is its “Bolt Action” configuration; the 4-inch rail is bridged with a 1.72-inch port clearance, allowing the user to load pellets or eject spent casings without interference from the mount itself.

Like all BKL mounts, it features patented Auto-Centering technology. The clamping legs move equally as the screws are tightened, ensuring the rail remains perfectly centered on the receiver regardless of slight variations in dovetail width. For oversized rails, the clamping screws can be moved to BKL’s unique “spreader holes” to manually widen the mount for a slide-on fit.
