The Burris Eliminator III 4-16x50mm integrates a high-performance laser rangefinder with automatic trajectory compensation. By pushing the activation button (or the remote cable switch), the scope instantly ranges the target (up to 1,200 yards on reflective targets), factors in the shooting angle via an internal inclinometer, and calculates the precise holdover. A bright-red illuminated dot then appears on the X96 reticle to signify the exact aiming point for your specific ammunition. This model includes a wired, military-style remote pressure switch, allowing the shooter to range targets without moving their support hand from the rifle.
