The #5 collet is specifically sized for .277 caliber projectiles, making it compatible with popular cartridges such as the .270 Winchester, .270 WSM, and 6.8mm Remington Special.

Constructed from high-quality steel, the collet system is significantly faster than kinetic pullers and is intended for use with rifle cartridges only. By utilizing a cam-action lever, the puller clamps the collet onto the bullet; as the press ram is lowered, the bullet is pulled free, remaining held in the collet for easy retrieval.”
