The Redding 81114 is a favorite among varmint hunters and target shooters using the .243 Win. When a cartridge is fired, it expands to perfectly fit the dimensions of your chamber. This die allows you to retain that “custom fit.” By not disturbing the body or shoulder, the cartridge remains perfectly aligned with the bore for the next shot, reducing bullet runout and improving shot-to-shot consistency.

Because the .243 Win is a high-pressure, high-velocity round, full-length resizing can cause the brass to “flow” and thin out quickly near the web. Neck sizing with this die eliminates that unnecessary stress, often doubling the number of firings you can get from a single piece of brass. The die includes a decapping rod and a hardened steel expander button.
