Description

The Redding 84106 Deluxe Set is the “all-in-one” solution for the .22-250 reloader. Because the .22-250 is a high-pressure, high-velocity cartridge, case stretching can be an issue. Having both the Full-Length and Neck Sizing dies allows the reloader to alternate: neck-sizing for 3–5 firings to maintain fire-formed accuracy, and then full-length sizing once the brass becomes snug in the chamber.

Each die is manufactured to Redding’s legendary standards, featuring hand-polished interiors and a decap rod assembly with a hardened steel expander button. The set includes a spare decapping pin and a hex wrench for adjustments.

Full-Length Sizing Die: Resizes the entire case body and bumps the shoulder back to factory specifications. This is essential for ammunition intended for multiple rifles or for brass that has become difficult to chamber.

Neck Sizing Die: Only resizes the neck of the case to hold the bullet, leaving the fire-formed body and shoulder untouched. This is the preferred method for maximum accuracy and extended brass life when shooting the ammo in the same bolt-action rifle it was originally fired in.

Seating Die: Features a built-in bullet seater and an internal crimping ring (though crimping is rarely used for .22-250). It is designed to seat bullets straight and to a consistent depth.
