Description

The Steyr AUG A3 SA is a modern semi-automatic rifle based on the legendary AUG platform developed by Steyr Arms. The rifle uses the distinctive bullpup configuration, placing the action and magazine behind the trigger to maintain a compact overall length while retaining a full-length barrel for optimal ballistic performance.

Chambered in .223 Remington / 5.56×45 mm, the rifle features a 417 mm cold hammer-forged barrel with chrome-lined bore and chamber. This manufacturing process provides durability, corrosion resistance, and consistent accuracy during extended use. The AUG platform uses a gas-operated system with a rotating bolt, ensuring reliable cycling in a wide range of conditions.

The rifle incorporates a synthetic bullpup stock designed for strength while keeping overall weight low. A detachable transparent polymer magazine allows the shooter to quickly check remaining ammunition, with standard capacities of 9, 30, or 42 rounds depending on configuration.
