Description

The Steyr CL II Varmint (SX Configuration) is engineered for shooters who demand a stable, customizable platform for high-precision strings of fire. The 558 mm heavy-contour barrel is cold-hammer-forged for extreme thermal stability, reducing “muzzle whip” and maintaining a consistent point-of-impact even as the barrel heats up. The muzzle is factory-threaded to 5/8-24 UNEF, the standard for larger North American muzzle devices and suppressors.

This model is bedded in the SX synthetic stock, which utilizes an integrated aluminum bedding block to ensure the action is perfectly seated and the barrel remains fully free-floated. To accommodate modern, large-objective optics, this variant includes the Kalix Teknik adjustable cheek piece, allowing for tool-less height adjustment to achieve perfect eye-to-scope alignment. The Direct Trigger provides a crisp, single-stage break (factory set to approx. 700g), while the BKGS (Ball Handle) allows for rapid, reliable cycling even when wearing thick gloves.
