Description
The Steyr CL II Varmint is engineered for shooters who demand sub-MOA precision under sustained firing conditions. The 558 mm heavy barrel is cold-hammer-forged to ensure extreme thermal stability and longevity. This “clean barrel” variant omits open sights to provide an unobstructed path for high-magnification optics. The muzzle is factory-threaded to 5/8-24 UNEF, the preferred standard for high-end suppressors and muzzle brakes.
This premium configuration features a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated bolt, providing a diamond-hard, low-friction surface that operates flawlessly even without lubrication. The Pear-shaped bolt handle (BKGS) offers enhanced leverage for rapid cycling. The Forward Set Trigger (Kombination trigger) allows for a crisp standard pull or a hair-trigger setting for precision shots.
