Description
The STEYR GAMS CL II (26.17455.120A) represents the pinnacle of modern Austrian rifle engineering for the mountaineering hunter. Unlike most carbon-barrel rifles, this model is equipped with factory-installed open sights, offering a failsafe backup for close-range shots in rugged terrain. It is built on the CL II action, utilizing the Safe Bolt System (SBS), which features a 3-position safety wheel and a massive locking lug design for world-class safety. The 485 mm (19″) Carbon Barrel significantly reduces weight while maintaining the rigidity and heat dissipation of a much heavier profile. It is finished with a 1/2-28 UNEF thread and a PVD coating that provides a nearly diamond-hard surface against scratches and moisture. The FBT Carbon Thumbhole Stock is acoustically dampened to sound like wood but provides modern ergonomics and an adjustable cheekpiece.
