A high-precision .223 Remington neck sizing die that uses interchangeable bushings to control neck tension within .001″ increments. It features a self-centering bushing design and an adjustable decapping rod to allow for partial or full neck sizing without affecting the case body or shoulder.

The Type S Neck Sizing Die is a favorite among benchrest and long-range shooters because it allows for “custom” sizing based on the specific wall thickness of your brass. Unlike a standard die that uses a fixed internal diameter, the Type S uses a floating bushing that self-centers on the case neck to improve concentricity and reduce runout.

The die comes with a standard expander ball (size button) on the decapping rod, which is ideal for commercial brass with inconsistent neck wall thickness. However, for those using premium or neck-turned brass, the kit also includes a decapping pin retainer, allowing you to size the neck without using an expander ball at all—further reducing the stress on the brass and ensuring the straightest possible ammunition.
