Description

The Benchmade 477-1 Large Emissary was developed as part of Benchmade’s Osborne series, offering a refined yet highly functional assisted-opening EDC knife. Designed by Warren Osborne, the knife features a streamlined drop-point blade profile, suitable for slicing, utility work, and everyday cutting tasks.

The blade is crafted from CPM-S30V premium stainless steel, providing excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and durability for repeated use. The knife incorporates Benchmade’s AXIS® Assist system, enabling quick one-hand deployment using the dual thumb studs, while a manual safety lock adds security during carry.

The 477-1 variant includes machined aluminum handle scales with textured grip areas for improved control and a lightweight feel. A reversible deep-carry pocket clip supports ambidextrous carry, making the knife suitable for EDC, work use, outdoor tasks, and general utility applications.
