The D3ORN7009CO is a standard-specification replacement O-ring used across a wide variety of Daystate PCP platforms. Identified as ‘Part No. 5’ on many classic Air Ranger and Air Wolf exploded diagrams, this seal is manufactured from Nitrile rubber with a 70 Shore (N70) hardness rating. It is most commonly utilized as the breech probe seal in .177 (4.5mm) caliber rifles, ensuring a consistent, airtight lockup between the pellet probe and the barrel breech during the firing cycle. Because it is an N70 ‘soft’ seal, it provides excellent flexibility and an immediate air-tight fit, though it should be inspected regularly for nicks or flat spots caused by the movement of the bolt. For optimal performance and to prevent tearing during installation, a light application of high-quality silicone lubricant is recommended.
