Hornady Custom Grade dies are precision-machined from hardened steel to ensure durability and consistent ammunition performance. The full-length sizing die returns fired brass to SAAMI specifications while incorporating Hornady’s Zip Spindle™ design, which uses threaded spindle surfaces to prevent slippage and allow quick adjustments during decapping operations.

Hornady also equips the dies with Sure-Loc™ lock rings, which clamp around the die body and maintain adjustment settings without damaging threads. The die set is compatible with standard 7/8-14 threaded reloading presses used in most single-stage and progressive presses.
