Description

IDEAL Duct Seal 31-601 is a dark gray, permanently soft sealing compound formulated with a butyl-rubber composite base. It is commonly used to seal around junction boxes, flashings, and service entrances to block air, moisture, and dust infiltration. The compound remains pliable after installation, allowing it to adapt to irregular surfaces such as metal, masonry, wood, or plastic without cracking or shrinking.

The product is non-toxic, UL listed, and can be painted immediately after application. Its durable formulation helps prevent corrosion and will not adversely affect plastic materials or other surfaces commonly found in electrical or construction environments.
