Description

Developed in collaboration with legendary Marine Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, the Steyr Scout is the ultimate all-purpose bolt-action rifle. This .223 Remington variant is finished in a durable ‘MUD’ earthy polymer that blends seamlessly into varied terrain. The rifle is famous for its integrated bipod that folds flush into the forend, and its ability to store a second spare 5-round magazine directly in the buttstock.

The ‘Direktabzug’ (Direct/Single-stage) trigger is a hallmark of Steyr’s Austrian engineering, providing a crisp, predictable break that is essential for both rapid target acquisition and long-range accuracy. The rifle features the Safe Bolt System (SBS) with a 3-position roller safety on the tang. With its fluted, cold-hammer-forged 19-inch barrel and extended Weaver/Picatinny rail for ‘scout-style’ forward-mounted optics, the Scout remains the benchmark for a lightweight, versatile, and dependable firearm.
