The MEOPTA ZD 3-12×50 MD (Mil-Dot) was developed as a professional-grade tactical riflescope intended for precision shooting and field operations. Built with a 30mm steel maintube, the scope provides exceptional durability and recoil resistance for demanding environments. The first focal plane (FFP) illuminated Mil-Dot reticle enables accurate ranging and holdovers at any magnification level, making it suitable for medium- and long-distance targeting.

Its 50mm objective lens improves low-light visibility during dawn and dusk, while Meopta’s premium optical coatings enhance clarity, brightness, and contrast. External tactical turrets allow quick elevation and windage adjustments, and the optic is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof for reliable all-weather operation. The ZD series became well known for combining military-grade durability with high optical performance before eventually being replaced by newer Meopta tactical scope lines.
