At its core are the Pro-Tuff Coated Rods, which undergo a two-step process: micro-polishing to a mirror finish followed by a chemical- and heat-resistant coating. This ensures the rod is softer than barrel steel while preventing abrasive carbon from embedding in the rod itself.

The kit features the MPH (Multi-Purpose Swivel Handle), which has a patented locking mechanism to allow for both free-spinning cleaning (following the rifling) and fixed-position work (cleaning the chamber). Included components are high-grade brass and bronze, designed to meet or exceed military specifications. The pouch itself is ruggedly constructed with double zippers and internal loops to keep small parts organized in high-stress environments.
