When using aggressive copper-removing solvents with a traditional brass jag, the solvent often reacts with the copper in the brass tool, turning the patch blue or green. This leads shooters to believe their barrel is still dirty when it may actually be clean.

The Trace Eraser series (30TEJ) solves this by utilizing a high-quality aluminum body treated with a proprietary secondary coating. This makes the jag chemically inert to most bore solvents. The spear-tip design allows the cleaning patch to be pierced and centered perfectly, providing a 360-degree “exact fit” against the rifling for maximum scrubbing power. Each jag is stamped with its caliber for quick identification and is rugged enough for professional or competitive use.
