QUANTUM PULSAR THERMAL IMAGING SCOPE-77312
AED 36,750.00
A high-performance thermal monocular featuring a 50 Hz refresh rate and a 384×288 resolution sensor. Designed for 24/7 detection in all weather conditions, the Quantum XD38S (77312) offers a 950-meter detection range, a stadiametric rangefinder, and multiple color palettes, housed in a rugged glass-nylon composite body.
Description
The Quantum XD38S is built for fluid, real-time observation. Its high 50 Hz frame rate eliminates the “stutter” common in lower-spec thermal units, allowing users to track fast-moving targets effortlessly. The heart of the device is an uncooled microbolometer sensor paired with a high-grade 38mm F1.2 Germanium lens, providing a base magnification of 2.1x (expandable up to 8.4x via digital zoom).
Key upgrades in the 77312 model include an expanded set of 7 color palettes (such as “Red Hot” and “Rainbow” for better heat mapping) and a stadiametric rangefinder that estimates distance based on the known height of a rabbit, boar, or deer. It features three specialized viewing modes—City (high contrast), Forest (low contrast), and Identification (enhanced detail)—and three calibration modes including a completely silent manual option. Power is supplied by 4x AA batteries in a quick-swap cartridge, or external power packs (EPS3/EPS5) via the integrated Weaver accessory rail.
