REDDING COMPETITION BUSHING NECK SIZING DIE 270 WINCHESTER CATEGORY I SHELLHOLDER #1 (NECK SIZING DIE) – 56135
750.00 د.إ
The Redding 56135 is a Category I Competition Bushing Neck Die that utilizes interchangeable bushings (sold separately) to size the case neck to your exact specifications. It features a micrometer-adjustable head to control the length of the neck being sized and a sliding alignment sleeve that centers the case perfectly before sizing. This die is engineered to maximize accuracy and brass life for bolt-action rifles.
Description
For the .270 Winchester, maintaining consistent neck tension is critical for shrinking groups at long ranges. This die replaces the “one size fits all” approach of standard dies with a customizable, high-precision system:
Bushing System: By using Type S Bushings, you can adjust the neck tension in $0.001″$ increments. This allows you to compensate for different brass wall thicknesses (e.g., Winchester vs. Nosler brass) without over-working the metal, which significantly extends case life.
Micrometer Adjustment: The graduated micrometer allows you to precisely set the “depth” of the sizing. You can size the entire neck or leave a small portion unsized at the base of the neck to act as a pilot, centering the cartridge more effectively in your rifle’s chamber.
Sliding Alignment Sleeve: This die uses a spring-loaded internal sleeve that captures the case before the sizing begins. This ensures the neck is perfectly centered as it enters the bushing, which is the most effective way to eliminate the runout (wobble) that ruins long-range accuracy.
Fire-Formed Consistency: Since this die does not touch the body or shoulder of the case, the brass retains its perfect “fire-formed” fit to your specific rifle, ensuring the most consistent ignition and pressure curves possible.
Key Features:
Micrometer Repeatability: Graduated in $0.001″$ increments for precise, documented settings across different brass batches.
Self-Centering Bushing: The internal design allows the bushing to float slightly, ensuring it centers itself perfectly on the case neck.
Dual-Mode Operation: Includes a decapping rod with a removable expander ball; you can choose to use the expander for uniforming or remove it entirely for the lowest possible runout.
Standard 7/8″-14 Threads: Fits all standard single-stage and turret reloading presses.
