REDDING COMPETITION BUSHING NECK SIZING DIE 308 WINCHESTER CATEGORY I SHELLHOLDER #1 (NECK SIZING DIE) – 56155
650.00 د.إ
The Redding 56155 is a Category I Competition Neck Sizing Die that utilizes interchangeable bushings (sold separately) to size the case neck. Unlike standard dies, this die features a micrometer adjustment head to control the length of the neck being sized and a sliding alignment sleeve that centers the entire case before the sizing process begins. It is designed specifically for bolt-action shooters looking for “match-grade” consistency and maximum brass life.
Description
The .308 Winchester is the cornerstone of precision rifle shooting. This die is engineered to address the two biggest factors in accuracy: neck tension and runout.
Bushing System: Instead of a fixed internal dimension, this die uses Redding Type S Bushings. This allows you to choose the exact neck tension required for your specific brand of brass and bullet diameter, eliminating the need to over-work the brass with a standard expander ball.
Micrometer Adjustment: The micrometer head allows you to precisely set how far down the neck the bushing travels. You can choose to size the full length of the neck or only a portion (partial neck sizing), which many long-range shooters prefer for centering the cartridge in the chamber.
Sliding Alignment Sleeve: As the case enters the die, it is captured by a spring-loaded internal sleeve. This ensures the case is perfectly vertical and centered before the neck contacts the bushing, virtually eliminating the “crooked necks” that cause bullet runout.
Brass Longevity: Because this die only sizes the neck and does not touch the body or shoulder, the brass maintains its “fire-formed” fit to your rifle’s chamber, and the work-hardening of the brass is kept to an absolute minimum.
Key Features:
Micrometer Precision: Graduated in $0.001″$ increments for repeatable, documented setups.
Decapping Rod/Expander: Includes a decapping rod with a small décapping pin and a removable expander ball (though many precision shooters choose to run the die without the expander).Self-Centering Bushing: The bushing is held in a way that allows it to self-center on the case neck during the sizing stroke.Standard Compatibility: 7/8″-14 threads for use in all major single-stage and turret presses.
