The .303 British is famously associated with the Lee-Enfield series of rifles. Because many of these rifles have “generous” chamber dimensions (especially those produced during wartime), brass fired in them tends to expand significantly. The Redding Series A die set is engineered to reliably resize this expanded brass while maintaining as much concentricity as possible.

The Full-Length Sizing Die features a decapping rod assembly with a “long-life” expander ball. This expander is highly polished to minimize friction inside the case neck, which is vital for preventing the neck-stretching that can shorten the life of .303 British brass. The Seating Die is designed for precise bullet alignment and includes a crimp ring. This is particularly useful for ammunition intended for the Lee-Enfield’s detachable box magazine, ensuring bullets stay securely in place during the rifle’s rapid bolt manipulation.
