The .243 Winchester is based on a necked-down .308 Win case and is known for its high velocity and light recoil. The Redding Series A die set is engineered to handle the steep $20^circ$ shoulder of the .243 with precision, ensuring reliable chambering in both bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles.

The Full-Length Sizing Die features a decapping rod assembly with a “long-life” expander ball. This expander is highly polished to minimize friction inside the case neck, which prevents “neck pull” and ensures your brass remains concentric—a critical factor for the long-range accuracy the .243 is capable of. The Seating Die is designed for precise bullet alignment and includes a crimp ring. While many .243 shooters do not use a crimp for target applications, the feature is available for hunters who want extra security for rounds stored in a magazine.
