The Steyr Arms Picatinny rail is an original equipment accessory made by Steyr Arms for the Steyr SSG 69 bolt-action sniper rifle. Designed to fit into the receiver’s mounting grooves, this rail provides a MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail surface that allows the attachment of modern optics, red dot sights, night vision devices, and other tactical accessories. The rail sits at a 12 mm build height and is precision machined from steel with a durable MANNOX finish for corrosion resistance and long service life. Installation uses four included screws to secure the rail to the rifle’s receiver grooves, maintaining solid mechanical engagement without the need for gunsmith modifications.
