The STEYR BREEZER OSD is part of the BREEZER suppressor family developed by STEYR Arms, featuring an innovative design optimized for rapid cooling, fast follow‑up shots, and self‑cleaning capabilities. As an over‑barrel silencer device, it extends back over a portion of the barrel which helps reduce total added length and improves weight distribution compared to conventional thread‑on cans. Typically built for calibers around 6.5 mm/.25″ and 7.62 mm/.30″, the BREEZER OSD achieves ~31 dB sound attenuation, a diameter near 45 mm, a length around 228 mm, and able to be threaded to various standards.

It’s intended for hunting and civilian shootings, combining military‑grade suppressor technology with reliable performance for regular field use. Finish is hard anodized for durability, and multiple thread options (including SD‑988510’s M14x1/other versions) accommodate different firearms.
