The Steyr Mannlicher Pro Varmint is a high-performance rifle designed for shooters who demand extreme accuracy under high-volume fire. The centerpiece is its 600mm heavy-profile stainless steel barrel, which is deeply fluted to maximize surface area for rapid cooling and to ensure structural rigidity for sub-MOA performance. Unlike standard hunting barrels, this heavy-profile variant is optimized to handle the thermal stress of successive shots without point-of-impact shift.

Built on the legendary Safe Bolt System (SBS), the rifle features a 3-position safety wheel that provides ultimate security by locking the firing pin and allowing for safe loading/unloading. The rifle comes equipped with a Tactical Bolt Handle (T.B.H.) for lightning-fast cycling and a factory-installed Picatinny rail for secure optic mounting. The ergonomic synthetic stock is reinforced with an aluminum bedding block for consistent harmonics and includes a ventilated fore-end to mitigate heat mirage during extended range sessions.
