Description

The Steyr Scout Mud is a modern homage to the scouting rifle concept, designed for portability, versatility, and rapid target acquisition. Chambered in .223 Rem, it offers low recoil and high precision, making it an excellent choice for varmint control and tactical training. The rifle features a cold-hammer-forged barrel and a unique fluted bolt for smooth operation in adverse conditions.

The Mud-colored synthetic stock is highly functional, featuring an integrated fold-out bipod in the fore-end and an additional magazine well in the buttstock. The top of the receiver is equipped with an extended Picatinny rail for forward-mounted “Scout” optics, though it also includes “emergency” flip-up iron sights. With its compact dimensions and lightweight build, the Scout remains one of the most agile and reliable utility rifles on the market.
