The MEOPTA ZD 4-16×44 MD Special was engineered as a professional tactical optic for military, law enforcement, and precision shooters requiring reliable long-range performance. Built around a 30mm one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube, the riflescope provides excellent durability, shock resistance, and weather protection.

The scope features an illuminated Mil-Dot Special reticle in the second focal plane (SFP), optimized for ranging and holdover calculations, with proper scaling at 14x magnification. A side/front parallax adjustment system allows fine tuning from approximately 9–10 meters to infinity, improving accuracy at varying distances. Meopta’s MeoBright multi-coatings enhance light transmission, brightness, and contrast for reliable low-light performance. External tactical turrets with 0.5 cm / 100m click adjustments allow precise elevation and windage correction, making it suitable for precision shooting beyond 800 meters. The scope is also waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen-purged, and shockproof for harsh operating conditions.
